Thus, it often happens that educator-researchers from the North and the South collaborate to prepare research or training, often with the aim that these processes allow the former to share their specific expertise with the latter. In this particular context, often marked by issues of power and access to resources, there are ethical and deontological challenges. In this fictional case study, based on real-world experiences, I highlight, among other things, the copyright issues associated with the production of research protocols or educational materials in this collaborative context for capacity building.
